Question

aggressive male shihtzu

My 2 1/2 unneutered male shihtzu is aggressive by nature and extremely dominant towards animals, people & children. Things have gotten worse because now when I leave in the morning for work he freaks out and goes for me the minute I go for the door. The dog totally feels as though he is my boss. When my husband & I cuddle he goes nuts and has to find the highest point closest to us and stand watch. He barks at everything. The whole neighborhood knows him because of his big mouth.He is aggressive towards other dogs. I am afraid he will hurt someone or get hurt. I love him to death. We have no children so he is our baby and he is good for the most part. I just want to be able for him to not be so aggressive. When he gets worked up his lil heart pounds so fast I am afraid he will get himself sick. Please help. Thank you for your time - Donna from Brooklyn, New York
