I have 2 female Yorkies that are in heat and 1 male who has not attempted to mate with my girls. He sniffs their butts and uses a toy moose for his pleasure. Is it a timing thing or what?

Optional Information:
Age: 1; Male; Breed: yorkshire terrier

Already Tried:
putting male and 1 female in kennel together over nite and different times a day.

You usually won't see the male take interest until around day 9, which is when she will also be more likely to accept him.

Days 9-13 are the most fertile so be sure to get them together at least 1 time each day during this period.

You'll have a lot of breeding going on really soon!
