A heat cycle should last for about three weeks. You should keep her away from males during the entire three weeks. Then, when this cycle is over, you can go ahead and schedule her spay.

Let me know if you still have questions.

Any time that she is bleeding, he might be interested. There are three phases and they are usually defined by weeks. There's one week to start, one week in the middle when she is most likely to accept a male (usually days 9-13) and then one week at the end.

She can get pregnant any time during this cycle and he will probably be interested really soon!

Does this help more?
