I have a purebread White German Shepherd with 2 problems.   She is 2 1/2 years old and is very thin. We have changed her food to puppy food, and she did gain for awhile but now has begun to lose weight again.
We adopted her from the humane society and know that she had been malnourished most of her young life.
Any ideas what could be wrong.... (we had her tested for worms when we first adopted her, but it came up negative.)   She also has developed a second problem of cleaning herself in the urinary tract area frequently. I wondered if the 2 problems could be related in any way. What do you thing?
