4 yr old mixed chichuaua had a bladder infection; ...

4 yr old mixed chichuaua had a bladder infection; receiving antibiotics for 2 weeks; no bowel movement for about 5 days; will not eat or drink; bllod work shows nothing. What could be wrong?

Sometimes the antibiotics can cause some stomach upset and this will take their appetite. If you think that you're not seeing bowel movements because he is constipated, you can try adding 1 tsp of canned pumpkin to his meals to get him to move his bowels. This has a stool softening effect.

I would be more concerned about him not eating and drinking. What are you feeding him?
