Pet question

I have a rottie/lab mix spayed female about 2 years old. She naturally is a very sensitive loving dog but I have noticed recently that she has become overly affectionate with a particular individual who she has met maybe 4 times who I am very fond of myself. Her behavior has been super intence with this person. She sits and watches him as he plays his guitar staring directly into his eyes while occasionally wagging her tale. She is very affectionate and loving towards this person. She is generally happy but with this person she is overwhelmed with long lasting joy. She runs and plays and trys to get this individuals undivided attention, bringing her toys and rolling around and prancing around. I have never seen her behave this way with anyone. She usually takes a few moments or visit before she warms up. What is she doing?

It sounds like she has found a friend and wants to be affectionate and win his attention.

You should be proud that your girl is behaving so nicely and that she is so warm with him.

She might sense that he is a good person or she might be feeling your comfort with him and acting in kind.

It makes it even better that you like him, too!
