Pot-bellied pig lameness question
Sent to Pet Experts July 29 11:40 PM

We have a pot-bellied pig who had a cracked hoof. She was walking on her knee for 3 weeks and her tendons have locked in that position. We took her to University of Georgia to have them xray and diagnose her, but it was way too hot for her to stay in their barn. They had made a makeshift splint to hold her knee straight and stretch the tendons and it was working however since she is at home the splint does not stay on very long. Do you know of anyone who makes splints for pigs that would stay on her little leg?

Optional Information:
Age: 7; Female; Breed: vietnamese pot-bellied pig
