i have a female cat 2yrs. old acts normal,eats fine but is losing hair all over her body,like tufts in spots.

 I apologize for the delay in responding to your question.  Do you suspect in anyway this could be from her grooming her self excessively OR has there been a change in her food?  There could a several reasons however I would like to find out if the excessive grooming or food is a possibility first -
