Is there a safe way to clean the ears(interior) of my 4 month old Dashund at home? She seems to have an excessive wax build up and paws at the area quite often.

 You can maintain the cleanliness of your dogs ears however you do need to rule out an infection or mites.  Is there waxy gunk really black/tarry looking?  Is there a bad odor to her ears?  We'll wait for your reply to direct you properly...
