Reply to Patricia's Post: Sorry I did not reply...I don't have a credit card to be able to pay the $8.00 request at the end of my question. But thank you so much for answering.
I rased my little guy from the first day he hatched (his mom didn't know what to do and I had lost two cluches before).
He is in a very big flight cage. It seems all the feathers that are the problem are his flight feathers in his wings. Some are covered by what looks like skin and others are bent about 1/4 down from the tip of the feather. He eats canary seed I get from the pet store. One site I was on described them as ingrown hairs and seemed to hit it on the head. But my guy has so many! His brother died last year and he has been quiet ever since. He dose have another male with him that is fine and they have never had any problem getting along except during bath time. No matter how many dishes of water I put in they want the same one! Thank you again for you time and help.
Yours,
