Unsure pet injury

i came home today and my dog (labradore x pomeranian) had a sore on the right side of her face, a little below the ear, she was trying to clean it because it was bleeding at some stage. I couldn't get a clear look at it becuase she was her usual jumpy, curious self. I'm really worried that it could be something serious, please reply as soon as you can, i'm really worried...
