Scratched bloody ears

Sent to Pet Experts July 16 09:02 AM

Every summer our cat (outdoors) proceeds to scratch all the hair off the back of both ear and keeps them in a bloodied scabbed condition till fall. We use the once a month flea stuff and see no sign of fleas. Assume it's mosquitoes, especially after getting bloody. What can we put on to sooth and what can we use to prevent.

TIA
