We have pets that are mostly rodents. A sickness has killed some of our pets in 4 days. First our pet rat walks with his head tilted and rolling over and in a seizure like way, he continues to live and acting the same. But two young guinea pigs have just dropped and layed in calming death. I know that there has to be a virus, but we are not sure what the cause is. The rat still lives. Yesterday the one guinea pig was doing great, but this morning he is dying. Can you tell what could be striking the rodents?
Could it be a threat to me and my kids? I look forward to your answers.
