I have a 5 year old female Yorky that had pancreatitus about 2 years ago.She has been on a diet of boiled beef and sweet potatoe. She takes 1/2 pet tab and dermcaps on her food. Can you suggest introducing other vegetables into her diet to give her a more balanced diet......

Thank you,

Vegetables should be OK such as carrots, or winter squash for example.
There is an email group special for people with pets that have pancreatitis to share ideas etc
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dogpancreatitis/
and this site has some recipes for diets for dogs with this problem

I'd make any changes really slowly to make sure you don't trigger an episode.
Hope this helps you!
