It probably doesn't have anything to do with the baths. They are probably helping if anything. There is a product you can get at feed stores or a pet store that helps with keeping the flies off. It is usually for horses but can be used on dogs. One product is called VIP but there are many others. Just make sure to clean the ear off with mild soap and water and dry it prior to putting the fly ointment on.

Good Luck

Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy),

I don't think that the frequent baths are the problem. Some species of flies are especially attracted to certain areas of an animal's body. The only thing you can do to help your pet is to apply one of the specially formulated pet insecticides to the affected areas. I really like the ones that come prepared as a cream. There is a brand named "Flys off" which is really effective. You can get these prducts from your local vet or agro store, or on the web, you can try www.petsmart.com or any other vet distributor of your preference.

Best wishes,
