i have a young bunny i bought from a pet store months ago

I have a young bunny I bought from a pet store 2 months ago. I'm not exactly sure of her age but she was a baby when I first brought her home. My question is, about 3 days ago I noticed 2 small hard looking bumps on the top right of her lip. I tried to wipe away one of the bumps not knowing what it was & the top of it came off & it started to bleed a tiny bit. Today I notied the area is a bit bigger& is pink with no hair on it. What could it be? What caused these weird bumps?   My bunnies nails were very long, so maybe she scratched herself with them & caused the bump/scab? Doesn't look like a scab at all now & beforeit had short hair on it.   I would take her to a vet but don't know if I should wait a bit to see if it heels on it's own?
