Question

i have a jack russellbeagle mix he is years old neutered

Sent to Pet Experts January 03, 2006 11:28 a.m.

I have a Jack Russell/Beagle Mix. He is 3 years old neutered and weighs 21lbs. I have noticed a couple of white I guess moles around the corners of his eyes, they almost look like scabs. He lets me touch them, and I don't think they are painful to him. I was wanting to know if I should go have them checked out or see if they get any bigger first?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

These could be styes or small infections of the lash follicles. You may want to get antibiotics to clear these up.
You could see if using some neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment (or terramycin eye ointment for pets from the pet supply store) on them clears them up in a few days and if not you can then see the vet about it.
Hope this helps you!
