i have a miniature daschund almost a year old and she

I have a miniature daschund, almost a year old, and she gets slightly nervous and loses her bladder. All the time. When you go to pick her up, when you even look at her the wrong way, or simply when it seems she has to go to the bathroom and can't make it. She's EXCEPTIONALLY smart, so smart that we joke she should be given a full scholarship to doggy-YALE. She's terrific and fun and the most quirky, bright, intelligent and trainable dog there ever was. What's with the incontinence? Thanks, S
