My Corgie just ate an Iris that was dead . I had them in a vase and threw them away and she ate about 7 of the dead flowers. I know the bulb and root are dangerous, what abouOptional Information: Age: 7; Female; Breed: Dog/CorgieAlready Tried: Just happened

You would be amazed at the terrible stuff I've seen dogs eat and not have a bit of trouble with! As an Animal Control Officer...I saw the worst conditions most dogs could get into...and if they are generally healthy...they can generally get through most terrible stuff.

There has to be a reason your Corgi ate the flowers...but as long as you watch your pet for adverse reactions such as swelling/convulsions/collapse/etc...and be ready to run to the emergency vet...you and your pet should be ok.

There might be some vomitting/diareah/drooling/foaming/and 'licking' motion... but your Corgi should be fine for now.

I would definately call your regular vet in the morning and let them know what happened and tell them how your pet is doing...but it should be ok.
