can a spider bite cause paralyzation in limbs

2 days ago my dog broke out into hives and the vet says she thinks it was a spider bite so they gave her antibiotics and a steroid shot, now she wakes up this morning and her right side back leg is like numb, she cant walk, but she is not in pain far as i csn tell
