Spiders might be an issue and bees or wasps can certianly be a problem due to the venom in all of them. Spider bites can be a problem and bee and wasp stings. But other than stings and bites the bugs are all just protein and pretty much get digested. The baby animals probably feel really 'tough' to have captured and killed prey which excites them.
Most baby animals like to play chase games. I've found my pets all like games where I play with them with a cat fishing rod type toy.
You will want to curb prey drives in your dog to legal chase things such as a ball or toy or frisbee as dogs who like to chase bugs often grow up to also like to chase livestock including chickens, and wildlife from squirrels to deer. I don't mind my dogs catching rodents in the yard, or my cats catching any that come in the house, but I don't like the dogs to think they can just go chase bigger prey if they feel like it so recall training away from prey is important. I don't let my cats out to hunt as I know they will happily kill birds if outside as well as rodents.
Hope this helps you!
