I have a 3yr old Rott/Shephard mix. He suddenly lost his appetite last Monday, starting having trouble walking and now can barely walk. Initially he was diagnosed with an ear infection and possibly hip problems on Wednesday. The pain medication did not work and my dog stopped eating. My vet took x-rays and blood work on Saturday and the only thing that shows up is that he is dehydrated although he is drinking water. He was also given an IV on Saturday. The doctor prescribed Prednisone and Robaxin and still has the antibiotic Cephalexin for the ear infection. I've gotten him to eat a small amount of liver on Sat and some eggs today (Sun). He's only getting worse. Please help.
