Hi Tammy. Does your Quaker ever go outside and is he ever exposed to any surface where wild birds may have been? How old is he? What are his bathing habits? How long has this scratching been going on? What are you feeding him? Is he a lone bird or do you have other birds also? If you have others, are any of them recent additions? Do you have any other pets in the house? Have you ever put any kind of over the counter medications or treatments on his feathers. Is anyone in the house a smoker, even if they go away from him, or outside to smoke? This extra information will help me give you my best advice with this. Thanks, Patricia
