I have a 45 year old African Gray Parrot I just noticed a bump the size of a nail above his right nostrol

Hi Jake. What a grand gentleman you must have. How long have you had him? When you say just noticed, do you mean today, yesterday, few hours ago? Is there any discoloration? Does there appear to be a break in the skin? Is there any indication that it is bothering him; trying to scratch at it, or trying to rub it on anything? Have you seen any discharge from nostrils or eyes? Have you seen any changes in any of his behaviors at all? This extra information will help me give you my best advice. Thanks, Patricia

I noticed it 4 days ago no discharge, and color is same as b/f no break in the skin It really is not bothering him and he eats drinks the same. Captian was my father's bird he hand fed him and 2 years ago when he passed I was the only fsmily member who would take him.He is very good with my husband and most males.
