I have an Amazon parrot that was recently given to me. He's 17, refuses to interact with anyone but my husband. Today, my husband actually got him out of his cage and he flew around. He landed in a houseplant of mine called a Donkey's Tail. It's a succulent plant which is mainly water.   Will this do him any harm? He seemed to love the taste and is showing no after effects. Any suggestions you might have as to how to get him to interact with me also, would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Phyllis Lindahl email: phyllis_lindahl@hotmail.com    Thank you for your time
