I can't tell you how pleased I am to see you showing the good common sense to do research before trying to make this very important decision about what will be (or should be) a life time committment. Before any kind of suggestions could be made, can you give me some more information? Are you an adult, teenager, child? Have you ever had any kind of pet bird before? If so, what kind and about how much parrot experience do you have? Can you tell me something about the home enviornment the bird will be coming into, like any other pets, any real young children, is anyone home all day, most days or does everyone either go to work or to school? And, as important as anything else, (you don't have to give me the answer as it's none of my business,just ask it of yourself); are you in a position to have a pretty much unlimited budget for the care and maintenance of a parrot?
