Ive had my parrot (amazon) for 8 yrs, the past few mo, his under feathers are getting fuzzy grey/white, he is picking on the tops of his wings, he is looking dull from his feet to his chest and I have observed his chest feathers shivering on occassion. I have moved his cage now to a window for sun. His stools appear dark green, his eyes seem bright and clear, no discharge from the nostrils. He eats good (seeds only) has never eaten foods even though introduced often. He plays/talks/ I see no outstanding issues except this feather problem. Is there something I can do holistically? I don't have $$$ for vet bills.
