Hi Kathleen. How old is your bird and how long have you had him? Is he holding up the same foot all the time or is he swapping back and forth? Can you take a close look at his feet and legs, looking for any indication of an injury, any break in the skin, any swelling and/or any discloration? Please tell me how many, and what type of perches he has. Are you positive it is a male bird? While I'm helping you with this, if you will tell me about his usual dailey diet, I will be glad to help you also make sure he is getting what he needs to stay healthy. (If by any chance you are feeding him mostly seeds of seed products, there are changes you need to start with right away.)
