My mom's parakeet can't stand on either leg. It started with one leg, now it's both. The vet said it was nerve damage, and gave the bird prednisone. After 10 days of medicarion, the bird seems friskier, but still can't stand. She wants to know if there's anything she can do to help it, or is it suffering, and should be put to sleep?
