My 47 lb mix (irish terrier/police dog) has contacted demedex mange 3 times in the past year; the vet gives toxic dips and oral meds which cure it for the moment and then it comes back. Do you have any ideas on what I can do. presently she has a large 4x5 inch area on her left neck and a little spot starting on her leg. She is scratching it a lot.
