My dog is scratching like crazy, but there is no evidence of fleas. What could it be?

Your could have any number of things causing her to itch intenstly. Mange, allergies to her food or surroungs, so you will need to take her to a vet to have skin scraping done to determine if it is mange or not. There are two types of mange, 1 is contagious but easy to cure, the other is not contagious but a little harder to get rid of.
