(Not a Pet Question?)

colapsing
Sent to Pet Experts August 30 12:10 PM

I have a 9 yr. old G. Shepard. One day when the tempature was in the 90's and humity was high my dog was running the fence line and barking as some one was coming down my drive way. A few min. later he just fell over and his body got stiff and he was whinning. It lasted about 1 min or less and then he got up like nothing was wrong. This was a few months back. Now today
8-30-05 I had someone come to my house he was barking and pacing back and fourth. Now the temp. is 82 with a heat index of 89 and humity at 74%. He did the same thing. Fell over stiffened and whinned. Then he got up like nothing was wrong. Is it that he is just getting him self to worked up and to hot or could something else be causing him to colaps and then get up like nothing happended.

Sincerely,
Kathy
