Our hamster is only six months old and suddenly began acting strangely. She runs around in circles and just kind of flops around like she has no balance. She is eating and drinking, though.

Hello,

This is probably an ear infection which would cause the off balance actions in your Hammy. It is very common when a hamster gets an eat infection to circle have a head tilt and loss of balance. A Vet can give a course of antibiotics that can help clear this up very quickly. You will need to see a Vet with Pocket Pet experience. Joan
