Our hamster was fine until a couple of days ago. He hasn't been eating much food. Today, his eyes were sealed closed and he seems to be unable to keep his balance. He did eat some bites of grapes and almonds, which he loves. But it seems as though it's a neurological problem. He's 1 1/2 yrs old. Any idea what is going on? Thanks.

Optional Information:
Age: 1; Male; Breed: Hamster

Already Tried:
put water on his eyes to get them opened. Nothing yet for the falling over/disorientation.

You say his eyes are sealed closed -- are they crusty?

Has he been sneezing lately?
