My hamster's urine is very very strong and foul

My hamster's urine is very very strong and foul odored. It has never been like this before. What could be the cause?

Is there any blood present in the urine? Do you notice if the hamster has any diarrhea?

When you say foul odored, does it have a strong ammonia smell?
