I have just recently bought an teddy bear hamster from Petco and we have a cage with a wheel, food dish, and water and bedding, and all. well the last couple of days he hasn't been active, I know it's a night animal and that's when he's is usually up and playing, and is active, but not in the last couple of days, it's almost like he is sick, we let him out in a ball and let him explore the house, he just seems to be sick. what can I do to help this? does having a cat cause this behavior? because the first week they got a long very well, i've never let them come in contact; one on one or anything, but could this be the problem?
