now in asking a question regarding my hamster I have to pay and use my credit card?

I need to know what options to take in not killing my third teddy bear hamster within 3 days of it coming home to live with me and my two girls. It always dies. The one I have now is still alive it is my third and he/she is doing okay. The kids arnt here and havent touched her/him yet.

MY QUESTION: WILL KIDS STRESS OUT A HAMSTER TO THE POINT OF IT DYING? HOW TO PREVENT THE POOR LITTLE THING FROM DYING WITHIN A WEEK OF BEING IN MY HOME.
