I heard my hamster cage fall this morning and I have searched everywhere for Max but I can't find him. What should I do now?
He is a dwarf hamster.

Already Tried:
Looked top to bottom in this apartment and have left a small plate of food with 6 sunflower seeds in each room

You are already doing pretty much what you have to. But you can add to that playing with his toys. If he has a wheel, spin it. The noise may draw him out. Or if he has any other toys that make noise they may do the trick.
If that doesn't do it. Leave his cage on the floor, open and keep his food and toys in it. He may return to his home if he can see it.
Let me know how you make out.

Another thought, be careful when you sit on anything with cushions or pillows. Check underneath to make sure that he isn't hiding.

Have you had any luck in finding the little guy? You must be so frustrated...I know I would be.
Try looking in places that emit heat, like near the refrigerator or baseboard heat.
