My dwarf hamster recently had babies. The baby hamsters are around 5 days old. My friend has a male dwarf hamster who is her sister. We think he is the father but we're not sure about that yet. We put the female dwarf hamster in the male's cage, but the female started chasing after him and biting him. Is it because of the babies? I also researched that male dwarf hamsters help the female dwarf hamsters. Then why are ours fighting? Please HELP!!!

Optional Information:
Age: <1; Female; Breed: Dwarf Hamster

Already Tried:
We tried putting them together, but that didn't work.

Reply to ZooCVT's Post: This is a project for biology class. We have to breed the dwarf hamsters and sell their babies. When we bought the hamsters, they were from the same family. They were together, but they didn't fight. Now she has her babies, and she keeps on chasing them around. I put her in the male cage, because I heard you shouldn't put the male in the female's cage. Hope this information helps!
