My guinea pig has very loose stools and is always going ...

My guinea pig has very loose stools and is always going poop. Is she sick? Is there some kind of food I can give her to bind her up little? Her nails get crusted with her feces and I have to wash her at least 2x a week.

nothing, she is new to our family. I know nothing about guinea pigs. I leave food in her cage all day, is this bad?

Are you giving her vegetables? If so, how much and what kinds?

How old is she? Is she a small baby, or an older adult?

When did you obtain her?

Is the stool loose and soft, or more watery like diarrea?

What type of bedding is she on?
