My guinea pig ate a patch of carpet fibers from a brand new rug during the night. She appears to still be active today and is eating. I'm wondering how this will affect her and at what point I may need to take her to a vet because of this. Also, I'd like to know why she would have changed her behavior like this after living on these types of carpets for over a year without incident.
