Hi Ms. Kauffman:

I am clicking the "accept" button now, although I am wondering what not "to do okay" would mean in your thinking. Thanks.

If you see a change in her demeanor or behavior such as shaking when the temperature is that low then it would be too cold for her. It also depends on if she is a long haired guinea then she will do better at a lower temperature then a short haired guinea will. Animals get used to a certain temperature just as we do. Some prefer warmer temperature weather and some enjoy cooler temperature weather. As long as she has plenty of bedding and did fine with air conditioner I don't feel you should have a problem, but I would recommend when dropping the temperature keep an eye on her and see how her body reacts to it, if she shivers then it would be too low for comfort for her and I would raise it five degrees. But most animals do fine with temperatures between 55 and 65 degrees.

Thank you. I wonder about a cover for her cage.
