My Goldfish has red "bloody" areas under it's fins and near it's head.. What is it and how can it be treated? He is about 4 years old.

Hello...

What size tank does your fish live in? Does it have a filter and aeorator? Any other fish in the tank? How many? Same species? How old (more or less) is the fish? What do you feed the fish? How often? How ofetn do you change the water? Is the water pH, nitrate, and nitrite levels all normal?
