I RECENTLY BOUGHT MY DAUGHTER A GERBIL, AND A COUPLE DAYS AGO WE NOTICED HER TAIL WAS BLEEDING. COME TO FIND OUT SHE WAS BITING HERSELF. I TOOK HER BACK TO THE PET STORE AND EXCHANGED HER. IN THAT PROCESS ONE OF THE WORKERS TOLD ME THE GERBIL WASN'T SICK, SHE WAS LONELY AND NERVOUS BECAUSE SHE WAS ALL BY HERSELF, SO I BOUGHT A SECOND GERBIL TO GO WITH THE ONE I TRADED. NOW THIS MORNING MY DAUGHTER NOTICED THAT ONE OF THE NEW GERBILS HAS ALREADY BITTEN IT'S TAIL AND DRAWN BLOOD. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??
