My fish has a fungal disease on its tail, looks like ...

My fish has a fungal disease on its tail, looks like white cotton, and is being treated right now. Part of its tail is missins. Will the tail grow back to its original state when and if its healed. It is a relatively small, about 2 inches, angel fish.

It is on medication called Maroxy
