Not commonly, but yes, with proper genetic makeup, good health care, and luck! Most ferrets live less than a decade (about 7/8yrs is the average I see), but when medical issues do arise and they are taken care of swiftly, there is no need to write them off" at this age, and a lucky rare few people can indeed get their ferret to live to age 20. It is of course important to make sure the older ferret's quality of life is good still if they do indeed live to this age.
