Ferret itching
Sent to Pet Experts January 25 07:01 AM

My ferret is scratching constantly. She is a silver ferret and her skin appears pink in color. Could she have an allergy? There are no visible fleas or other things on her sin. What can help heer? she is 8 months old and has lived in the same cage with her sister since 2 months of age and her sister is fine.

It could be allergies but it could also possibly be mites I would have your vet do a skin scraping to rule out mites then possible give her some crtisone to sooth the itching.
