First thing I would do is check the accuracy of your scale. You can
drop him by your vets office and weigh him at no charge on a gram or
baby scale that would be more accurate. If it is correct then that
dramatic of a weight loss should be seen by a vet. That equivalant to
150# person dropping to like 60#. There must be something going on that
may only be determined by bloodwork.
