Question

I am very alarmed and paniced about my ferret little girl.

Sent to Pet Experts July 12, 2006 1:12 p.m.

I am very alarmed and paniced about my ferret little girl. I was starting to get concerned with the fact that she is 9 months old and very tiny. I recently feel as though she is losing weight. I got her moist food and even did the duck soup but she seems to only hide her food. She eats and steals my dogs food and from what I am reading this is very dangerous for her system. My vet has been no help at all. How do i get her to stop eating the dogs food and eat her own???? Should i keep her confined in her cage until she appears to be eating her food?? please any help would be appreciated. She is my little princess and i would be devastated if anything would happen to her... Thanks.

Do you still need help with this question?

Has she been checked for intestinal worms?

Had she been spayed by the breeder or pet shop?
