what if your cockatiel keeps laying eggs even if you leave the eggs for her to sit on if she wants to?

Does your female have a male to fertilize the eggs?

She will lay eggs which is normal but none will be fertilized without a male.

Reply to Don's Post: she does not have a male. for several years she just laid eggs a clutch in the fall and again in the spring. Last year she began sitting on them one at a time until one didn't hatch then she would lay a new batch after a short period one to two weeks with no eggs, then start with more eggs. she quit during the summer. NOW SHE IS AT IT AGAIN.
